2025 HKPC Drone Operation Training Workshop

The OFCA held the 3rd "5G Campus Application Competition" this year, and INSPIRE® was invited by HKPC to organise drone operation training for the 10 finalist secondary school teams.

The three-hour workshop covered two core areas: theoretical knowledge and hands-on operation. Aligned with the "Low Altitude Economy" theme, the course helped students master practical drone applications and sparked their interest in tech innovation.

Workshop Flow

Instructors introduced various drone types including innovative designs combining drones with traditional machinery such as spraying systems, lifting devices and robotic arms. Safety regulations aligned with CAD guidelines were also covered.

Core Experience: Drone Flight

The team prepared DJI Tello and DJI Neo as training tools with progressive challenge courses. Activities included precision hovering and obstacle courses with Tello, while DJI Neo with FPV goggles provided an immersive first-person flight experience.
