2020 DJI R Club
In 2021, we partnered with DJI to establish the DJI R Club in Hong Kong. This year-long programme promoted intelligent robots and drones through the DJI RoboMaster system to students aged 5 to 14, enabling them to build a foundation in technological innovation early on and fostering their interest in technology and programming. We provided free workshops for students interested in robotics programming at the former DJI flagship store at 533 Jaffe Road, Causeway Bay.
We designed product-specific 6-hour free experiences based on two DJI products: the RoboMaster S1 and RoboMaster TT, available to students who had purchased these products. Both the RoboMaster S1 and RoboMaster TT support Scratch and Python programming languages, allowing users to control robot behaviour through visual or text-based programming to develop coding skills. The RoboMaster S1 is an entertainment-oriented robot offering multiple game modes to enhance learning fun and interactivity, while the RoboMaster TT combines programming with drone technology, integrating advanced flight control and programming functions so students can explore drone applications while learning to code.
To make the free experience more entertaining and engaging for 100 participants to learn in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, we adopted a space exploration theme. By combining the combat features of the RoboMaster S1 with the drone capabilities of the RoboMaster TT, we cleverly integrated both products into a single theme, striving to make programming vivid and fun for students aged 5 to 14, nurturing their interest in technology and coding in a straightforward manner.
We can flexibly design courses based on our partners' teaching objectives or products. The DJI R Club provided a platform for students to learn advanced technological knowledge, cultivating children's interest in technology and programming from an early age, which helps them in future learning of related subjects.
