Alex Ka-Kit Kwok is a born pioneer — he thrives on going from zero to one, conceiving, designing and validating entirely new systems and products in uncharted territory, then establishing replicable models for teams to scale from one to ten. He is neither purely an engineer nor purely a business person; his strength lies in being all-rounded — spanning product design, technical architecture, user experience, business strategy and education methodology to lead complex systems that encompass hardware, software and service design. From IoT smart devices and AI education platforms to enterprise-grade no-code workflow systems, Alex is always at the forefront of solving problems, moving on to the next challenge once the model is proven.

Born Curious · TVB Eco-Car Champion
From age 5–6, he loved disassembling electronics — clocks, radios, phones — to understand how things work inside. He also self-taught by simulating a teacher role, teaching English vocabulary to revise on his own — the seeds of teaching were planted in childhood. In 2008, he proposed a solar + battery EV concept with a rubber-band CVT gearbox and hollow wheel design, winning the championship.

Seeds Planted in Primary School
Alex's curiosity showed from a very young age. From age 5–6, he loved disassembling household electronics — clocks, radios, phones — just to understand how things work inside. Around the same time, he began self-teaching by simulating a teacher role, teaching English vocabulary to revise on his own — the seeds of teaching were planted in childhood.
In primary school, Alex participated in a TVB eco-car design competition (2008), proposing a solar panel + battery EV concept ahead of its time. Over the summer, he went through more than six design iterations, rigorously testing for the fastest and most stable build — balancing speed, gear ratio, weight distribution, friction and air resistance — featuring a CVT gearbox crafted from rubber bands and a hollow wheel design, ultimately winning the championship.
Innovation & Competition in Secondary School
In Form 1, Alex extended his passion for innovation by designing a solar-and-wind-powered EV bus concept (2009) and DIY-building a solar-powered portable phone charger for his classmates to use.
He took on important leadership roles such as Vice-Chairman of the Green Team Club and Physics Lab leader for school open days, organising activities that demanded perseverance and adaptability.
Alex joined the Budding Scientist programme in both Form 2 and Form 4. In 2013 (Form 4), he won a Third Prize at the Innovation & Technology Competition in the Environmental Innovation category for his "Watery Acoustic & Dust Barrier" product.
Competition was another area where Alex demonstrated commitment and resilience, including serving as lead speaker in academic speech competitions. Every contest, win or lose, gave him valuable experience in perseverance and teamwork.
Higher Education Broadens Horizons
Alex continued his journey at HKUST, earning a BBA in Global Business and Information Systems (2019). During university, he actively competed in innovation contests: winning Citizenship 2nd Runner-Up at Microsoft Imagine Cup 2016 with a social volunteering app, Healthcare 2nd Runner-Up at HKUST Hackathon 2017 with an app for the deaf community, and Champion at the Innovation For Urbanisation Challenge (Hysan) for urban system design.
He went on to complete an MPhil in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship (TLE) at HKUST's Integrated Systems and Design division (2022), focusing his research on redesigning AI cameras to promote smart parking adoption.
Turning Creativity into Business Impact
Alex's entrepreneurial path truly began during university. Driven by his passion for tech and education, he founded Coxana Innovation Limited, developing courses in technology, media production, and AI.
Building on Coxana, Alex co-founded AutoBright Company Limited. He built the company website, social media channels, SEO strategy, and marketing campaigns, later leveraging no-code and AI tools to build internal workflow systems, co-expanding the business from 2 cars to over 100 cars serving more than 7,000 customers.
Education Experience
Alex has educated over 10,000 students with more than 2,000 hours of teaching. His teaching methodology combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. He also has over eight years of experience in media production and innovative products, honing skills in aerial photography, IoT technology, and product design. Leveraging his product design experience at global firms and vibe-coding methodology, he also led the design of CoRight AI and INSPIRE AI EduTech platforms.

Alex inspires students through his own growth footprint — from hands-on tinkering in childhood, through years of trial and experimentation as a student, to continuous exploration in his career. His lived experience shows students that curiosity is the most powerful starting point, and that anyone who dares to try can forge their own path. He also embeds this belief into his team culture, leading every instructor to share the same passion — igniting a spirit of exploration and resilience in the next generation of innovators.
